Went up to lake of the woods a couple weeks ago with my son. All we wanted was to find a place to get a decent burger for lunch, came into 218tavern after a couple locals directed us. GREAT burgers, excellent seasoned fries. Exceptional bar staff... Will see y’all again round lunchtime first Saturday in October ‘25... Stopped by Home Depot on the way home, ha

we brought our own fish... " catch it they cook it"... they even let us bring our mix of beer breading... oh my gosh!! they made it perfectly!!! the service is amazing... so much fun.... Cheyanne our Bar tender was so much fun... we will make this our only bar to eat and drink at... Thanks for making the weekend even better..
Went on a Friday night on the 3rd. We were in town ice fishing and the resort restaurant was packed so we decided to head into town. We decided on 218 Tavern and weren’t sure what we would get. Wings were great, burger was awesome, server was fantastic. It was so good we went back the next day. We all tried something different from the day before and again, it all was SO good! Very good food and service!
Our server, Candace, was very attentive! She immediately informed us of the specials and when I asked which seltzers were in stock, she brought a tray with all of the options. When we placed our order, Candace informed us of 2 new appetizers that were not on the menu yet. Our food was also amazing! Definitely try this place out on your next fishing adventure!

Enjoyed a great California burger here the first night of our trip, with a side of sweet potato planks (flat and wide crinkle cut style fries) that were really good as well. The second night we feasted on some walleyes we brought up here from home that they fried up for us. The cook was even cool enough to use the home made beer batter I had brought. The bartender, Cheyanne, was super great as well, and took very good care of us both nights, even though she was kinda slammed. My new go to spot up here.
